what i did was just burn to a dvd blank disc, then when i loaded it back in to drive i right clicked on the dvd drive/open files then look for set up/aplication

I have a question, is there a way to format a disc with an OS while currently being logged in?

I want to avoid formatting a DVD, could I Just use daemon tools lite to format a drive for another computer?

Excellent, Thank you oldben, my laptop is running once again on windows 7 thanks to you. I tried many different versions of linux but nothing worked as well as windows. I can tell you all that my antivirus software has detected no viruses even when scanning in boot time, so unless oldben is the greatest hacker in the world it is all clear. I cannot speak for your activation program though as I had a valid and legal key so I just did a legit activation, but the OS itself is awesome. Once again thank you. I will be downloading many more of your torrents and will seed to 2.0 from now on. Sry I didn't seed this one for long because I was on a friends computer.

I see alot of people asking questions about burning the .ISO to a DVD.

For those people that don't like fucking around with burning DVDs and all that kind of bullshit you can download a tool from the microsoft website called "Windows 7 USB/DVD DOWNLOAD TOOL". With this application you can select an .ISO made from an original windows 7 DVD.

Get a USB with at least 4 GB of space, remove all data. Run the application and select the iso file and proceed following the steps in the application. This will create a bootable USB (it's different than copying all files straight to the USB since it also installs a bootsector).

Next on the PC that you want to install windows insert the USB and boot. If setup doesn't run go into your BIOS and change your boot settings to boot from USB.

This does not work on all the ISO images you can download here on pirate bay since the application will check if the ISO is valid. I tested it on this download it and will work with this ISO file. Saves the trouble of burning a DVD and in my experience will also run setup faster and smoother.

Ok first thing! You say that this is an ISO??? NOPE!! it's a zip file with the files in it. So in your instructions on how to install this make no sense. You need to download the full version of magic iso maker and turn the files into an iso and then burn it as bootable.

Next time let people know what they are getting into. It's retarded to have to go through all this bullshit. I'm going to make my own torrent with this one and put it on as a REAL ISO IMAGE. So that people can actually use this the right way.

10/10 .. I wiped my laptop that came with Win7HomePrem x64 and installed this with no problems. Pretty sure it's already cracked. I went to update it and the only update that was not selected was the one that checks the authenticity of your OS.

You must of downloaded a different one homie. This is in fact a .iso image. I burned it with iso burner at 4x and it is flawless.

You must of downloaded a different torrent. This is infact a .iso image and it works flawlessly. 99% sure its cracked too. I never had to enter a key and when I went to update the authenticate your cd-key or what ever was unchecked so it wouldnt download. Thanks OldBen.

Testing this out now.. I ran out of DVD-R's discs to use because I am assuming the last torrent I downloaded was a bad copy or didn't support the Windows 7 DVD/USB Tool. It went to 99% burning then said failed and now those discs are useless.. So last resort is using the USB with this copy as that didn't work either with the other one I downloaded. Cross your fingers for me!

One question, my antivrus auto protect keeps removing the windows 7 activation.exe saying its a VERY high harm risk.... is this normal, is this activation.exe ok ?

I'm having an error on installing. I used the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool to help format my USB to install this.

I'm able to get my computer to boot via USB, but the problem I am having is when trying to install. "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing." I looked for a solution here and elsewhere and haven't been able to find anything. Anyone else having a similar issue or know of a fix?
